Meeting of Minds

Here Inter-religious, cross- cultural and intra-Buddhist dialogues are organised. Dialogue here is not just talking endlessly, but to be together sharing experiences, information, and most importantly knowledge, without the intention of converting the partaker to your point of view. It enriches each other and generates tolerance amongst religions and cultures.

Bridging Cultures

Whether the context is art, culture or spiritual, we believe bringing people from all walks of life on a single platform induces understanding and harmony, thus bridging cultures. Gathering of small number of people is more effective than big congregations. Hence, workshops, courses and retreats are organised from time to time. Ceremonies and festival marking religious and social events are also held. Here festival is not about feast and carnivals meant just for sensual enjoyment. It is intended to have festivals related to Art, Culture, ecological or socially relevant point to signify the theme of "survival". These events are sometimes organised in collaboration with other organizations.

Academic

With the aim of disseminating knowledge on specific discipline, we organize purely academic events of seminars, lectures, and conferences both national and international level. Also, research oriented work is encouraged by providing incentives for serious research of academic standard on essentials of Buddhist subjects, especially Buddhist art, history and philosophy. This will be done without instituting a regular forum for sectarian/narrow religious or political propaganda activities.

Making a Difference

  • Community Service & Health Care

Serving others without a selfish motivation is Motto of our trust. It is a most fulfilling act of a human being. In all the spiritual traditions also service is required to reach higher state. We believe that community service is the starting point, and engaged in activities of providing requirements for needy people and monk students etc. Health care is an established activity of the Trust.

  • Ecological responsibility

Ecological responsibility is much emphasized key word in the trust's mission. We have ongoing programmes and plans for caring Mother Earth and reducing level of poisoning air and water.
