FOUNDER MANAGING TRUSTEE

Lama Doboom Tulku (1941-2024), a reincarnated Tulku, a scholar and a creative writer, was the Founder Managing Trustee of World Buddhist Culture Trust, founded and registered the Trust in 1996 under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882.

BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Mr. Tenzin Dorjee, a Buddhist monk with Geshe Degree from Drepung Loseling Monastery, Mundgod, Karnataka State, joined the board of Trustees in May 2023 and appointed Managing Trustee (Chief Functionary) of World Buddhist Culture Trust in February 2024.

Mr. M. G. Gopal is a prominent retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the 1983 batch of the Andhra Pradesh (now Telangana) cadre. He joined the board of Trustees in June 2020 and serves as Trustee of World Buddhist Culture Trust

Mr. Trinley Wangyal, a Buddhist monk with Geshe Degree from Drepung Loseling Monastery, Mundgod, Karnataka State, joined the board of Trustees in November 2023 and serves as Trustee of World Buddhist Culture Trust

Ms. Chungkey, a graduate from Punjab University Chandigarh, was associated with the Trust in the early years of 1998 and appointed Secretary in April 2011 and Trustee in May 2023, serves as Secretary-cum-Trustee of World Buddhist Culture Trust.
